The main goal of the project is the development of advanced components of the drive assembly made of polymeric materials (gear pairs), which will meet the described customer requirements and significantly exceed the existing situation. The target application of the project is high-performance polymer gears for the central drive system for the e-bike. By transferring knowledge in the field of advanced materials, material characterization, optimized product design with high geometric precision and innovative technologies in the field of toolmaking and smart material processing and simulation of industrial processes, we will exploit synergies between research organizations and industry partners and greatly raise development and innovation capabilities of all partners, increase exports of high value-added products and open new markets. The knowledge transferred from RO will enable us to strengthen the engineering development departments of the partners and future development at a much higher level than before. ROs will further focus their research and refine their knowledge in the field of topics that are necessary for further development in the industry.
